John Gotelli was an American realist artist from San Francisco, California, the son of Italian immigrants who settled in the North Beach area at the end of the nineteenth century. Gotelli studied at the San Francisco Academy of Art. He was also a master craftsman, installing flooring in many famous buildings in San Francisco. Most of his work can be seen today in private collections.
